A graduate of Loyola Marymount University (Class of 2009), Paul served briefly in the United States Air Force before transitioning into a career in fire protection. He utilized his background in sociology to apply a solution-oriented approach to come up with answers to common problems in the industry and serve client needs. He has spoken to and consulted property managers, building owners, real estate brokers, fire inspectors, fire department chiefs, general contractors, CEO’s, and COO’s of all different levels. He utilized his knowledge in the field to educate clients and city officials on the progress of work completed, updates in city/building codes, and have spoken at seminars to build awareness in building safety and the need for up-to-date fire protection equipment.
Prior to starting at Montage, Paul worked at Profit Recovery Partners in Costa Mesa as an Analyst in the Solutions Management Department. He incorporated the same problem-solving mindset that he has acquired through the years in the construction industry to a corporate setting to help clients across all verticals reach optimal level of savings. The clients included various Am Law 100 law firms, credit unions, healthcare providers, and title companies. He worked with industry experts to negotiate the best rates from vendors so that that savings could be passed onto our clients.
In his time at PRP, he has been part of many different client engagements at the executive level. He managed $37 million in client spend with his solutions management team. It was his responsibility to ensure that the savings implemented by the client is realized through ongoing verification processes, as well as to enhance the programs in place to drive additional savings. Currently at Montage Insurance, Paul works to serve clients with audits and HRIS technology. Paul conducts census audits, discrepancy reports, and benefits analysis for our clients to ensure they have the most up to date enrollment and are being billed correctly without paying a dollar more than needed. He is also co-chair of the Montage Wellness Committee, putting together in-house seminars for healthy eating, goal setting, and realistic exercise goals as well as writing guest columns for the Montage newsletter.
Going above and beyond what a typical insurance brokerage firm promises is what makes the difference at Montage. By treating clients as partners, we are able to achieve more and truly become an advisor to them, helping during difficult times and being available to them. He looks forward to working with you.
