Montage Insurance Solutions is a distinguished full-service commercial insurance brokerage firm managing Employee Benefits and Property & Casualty for the mid-sized to larger employer. We are a Third-Party Administrator, committed to delivering unparalleled protection and service through COBRA and Benefits Administration. Our History

Danone Simpson, the esteemed Founder and CEO of Montage Insurance Solutions, brings a wealth of over two decades of experience in the insurance sector. Her illustrious career trajectory includes pivotal roles as Vice President or Partner at several reputable brokerage firms. Danone's journey in the industry was marked by a significant appointment to spearhead the employee benefits department of a larger agency, a testament to her expertise and leadership.

Her tenure across various agencies was instrumental in shaping her vast knowledge in insurance consulting. Danone's unwavering commitment to client satisfaction not only bolstered her reputation but also established her as a paragon of customer service excellence within the industry. Her growing clientele, a testament to her professional acumen, led to influential positions within the board rooms of these firms, providing her with a deep understanding of their business models.

An alumnus of the Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business and Management with an Executive MBA, and an entrepreneur at heart, Danone scrutinized these service models. She identified potential efficiencies that could enhance client experience and foster more effective business partnerships. Danone observed that many agencies either fell short in delivering robust partnerships or resorted to exorbitant commissions and broker fees to meet the high service standards she envisioned.

It was during this period that Danone was approached by an agency renowned for Property & Casualty consulting, aspiring to venture into the Employee Benefits arena. They proposed a collaboration, inviting Danone to lead a new division, bringing along her loyal clientele and team to inaugurate their benefits division.

In this new role, Danone was empowered to implement her vision for how consulting firms should operate, yet she encountered limitations due to entrenched inefficiencies inherent in the company's foundational structure. Driven by the encouragement and support of her steadfast clients, by late 2005 and early 2006, Danone began to actualize her aspiration of founding DSI DBA Montage, Simpolicy, Legacy Heir and now Bene to bring best in class services to our clients.

Her vision was clear: to construct a firm grounded in a framework she believed would most effectively deliver the ideal partnership experience. In 2012 Danone created Simpolicy to serve the smaller employer, so that Montage can manage the mid-sized to larger employer with in-house teams of account managers, TPA administrators and HRIS technology experts, who know and understand the complexities of accounts with up to thousands of employees. Customized service programs are what the agencies have been established on. High Touch for the larger employer and High Tech for the smaller employer. Bene is a new service provider in technology that will provide cutting edge services to our clients and its own.

Danone brought in Tobias Kennedy in 2007, to help our agency navigate ACA and further our mission in excellence in customer service. He has established great relationships with all our clients and is recognized as a trusted advisor and educator. He established H.I.T Podcast, sponsored by Montage in 2023 to keep our clients and community informed on Human Resources, Insurance and Technology changes, updates, breaking down the complexity in our industry, employee engagement and compliance into bite size nuggets. He has attracted esteemed guests in a variety of sectors on his Podcast and we are excited about his future as an industry trailblazer.
