Devon S. Mills provides strategic counsel and litigation representation to employers navigating the complexities of labor and employment law. Based in Michelman Robinson’s Los Angeles office, he is known for his pragmatic and results-driven approach to resolving workplace disputes.


Devon’s practice spans a wide range of employment matters, including defending against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) and the California Family Rights Act (CFRA). He has substantial experience handling wage and hour disputes, class actions, and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) claims in state and federal courts.


Employers also turn to Devon for guidance on compliance with state and federal employment regulations. From advising on hiring and workplace accommodations to navigating complex termination issues, he delivers actionable solutions tailored to mitigate risk and protect his clients’ business interests.


Before joining M&R, Devon gained valuable experience clerking at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office and externing for the Honorable Otis D. Wright II in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. His early career also included serving as a Majority Staff Intern for the Arizona State Senate, where he contributed to legislative drafting.
